 Payment Terms for Booking.com and Airbnb

  • For bookings made through Booking.com or Airbnb, payment for your booking will be made via those channels.
  • A breakage deposits of R1000 is payable 24 hours prior to check-in via EFT directly to Experience Zimbali. Kindly refer to your invoice for banking details. Cash will NOT be accepted upon check-in. The refund of the breakage deposit will be made via EFT from Experience Zimbali within 14 days after check-out or within 14 days from receiving your bank account details, whichever comes later. Please let us know if you are an overseas guest and we will arrange another method of payment other than EFT for the breakage deposit.
  • For requests for early check-in/late check-out, a charge of R300 will be added to your invoice. Camp cots are hired at R200 per stay. Extra beds for children are charged at R250 per child per night.


Payment Terms for Private Bookings
Your booking will only be secured through full payment via EFT to Experience Zimbali according to the following terms:

  • For bookings made more than 30 days from check in date: full payment is required at the very latest by the 30 day mark prior to your check in date.
  • For bookings made within 30 days from check in date: full payment is required within 24 hours after the booking is made.
  • The breakage deposit is due 48 hours prior to your check-in date and is payable via EFT only. No cash will be accepted upon check-in.


Last Minute Bookings
Please be aware that these are individually owned apartments and therefore operate in a different manner to the Fairmont Hotel. Payment cannot be made at the front desk. The reception staff are only notified of bookings once the booking is paid in full. If no payment is received before 5pm on the day of check in, you will not be able to check in – thus your booking will be cancelled.

Cleaning Policy
Since the accommodation is self-catering, all consumables including cleaning products are for your expense. The apartments are serviced daily but no additional cleaning products are provided.

Cancellations Policy

  • No fees charged for bookings cancelled within 4 hours of booking.
  • Cancellations requested more than 30 days from check-in date: booking may be cancelled free of charge (full refund given).
  • Cancellations requested less than 30 days from check-in date or no shows: total price will be charged (no refund given).


Booking Terms and Conditions

  • Payment for this booking is deemed as acceptance of this rental as well as its terms and conditions as per the attached document.
  • If you do not intend to honour this booking, it is your responsibility to cancel the booking with the channel through which you made the booking.
